By Max Pepper Neale (3 years & 4 months old).
Q: Tell me about the book.
A: The anaconda. It opened one eye and started to wander. The children didn’t see the anaconda.
Q: How did this book make you feel?
A: Happy. It made me good too, and healthy and I growed.
Q: What was your favourite part?
A: I liked this one (the bit where the anaconda wanders) because it was not scary but I think I didn’t like this one (bit where the anaconda gets up to mischief) because those eyes were grumpy. I liked all the pages.
Q: What do think about the pictures?
A: There’s a girl crying. A boy being naughty. A teacher being grumpy. I like them all.
Q: What did you learn from the book?
A: It teached me about that huge reptile. The anaconda!
Q: Would you recommend this book to others?
A: Yes. For other people. They can read it. About the anaconda.
