Q: What is the book about?
A: It’s called The Great Snortle Hunt. They hunt up the hill and the wind began to blow. He’s terribly strong. He wakes up late and everyone creeps in the room. The Snortle comes and chases those guys.
Q: How did this book make you feel?
A: Good. It didn’t make me scared at all.
Q: What was your favourite part?
A: This page (skipping over the rocks in the water). Because there wasn’t any Snortles in it. There’s one and two crabs. I don’t like the scary part where the Snortle wakes up.
Q: Which character did you like the best?
A: Snortle. ‘Cause I like him very much. His house is a long way to go. He’s a friend now. He’s going to have a big, big tummy.
Q: What do you think about the pictures?
A: They’re yellow and dark blue and green and red.
Q: What did you learn from the book?
A: Snortles. They get grumpy. Snortles get very, very grumpy and they go to bed late. Snortles have got a blue sock and there’s a green sock. The Snortle likes to eat cake so he can get big and strong like a trampoline.
Q: Would you recommend this book to others?
A: To Nudie (His Auntie). Because she would read it for a sleep over.
